Hi!

I'm Dani Duarte.

I am an artist, illustrator and surface designer, also an academic researcher about collective textile arts and its relations with Care Aesthetics and Feminism.

As a print & pattern designer, I’ve worked with several fashion brands, as an inhouse designer, and now I’m working as a freelancer, with most clients in womenswear and beachwear industry.

I love traveling and mixing cultures, I am Brazilian currently based in Barcelona, missing Carnaval and taking the summer wherever I go.

​

I believe in the power of collaboration, whether designing for clients or in artistic collaborations. I believe in making fashion and design with meaning, instead of “disposable” projects. So, if you’re a fashion business client, I will help you to create beauty and tell stories that reflect your brand identity through the prints.

Recently, I am working on developing textile/ arts workshops as part of my doctoral research and also as a way to share some creative processes and techniques with creative people.
